All your care news in one place
The goal of Caregraph is to tell the stories that matter most in health and social care, combining data, research, and human voices to create genuine understanding.
Caregraph is a UK-based Publication Focused on Adult and Social Care.
I, Jijo Johny, a nurse by background, started Caregraph with the intention of bringing clarity, security, and meaningful stories to providers, residents, staff, and families. The goal of Caregraph is to tell the stories that matter most in health and social care, combining data, research, and human voices to create genuine understanding.
What I Do
I created Caregraph to make care easier to understand and to give a genuine voice to the people who live and work within it. My work brings together data, stories, and innovation to show the true picture of adult and social care in the UK.
Making Care Understandable
I take the information published by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and translate it into clear, simple language. The CQC often provides data in spreadsheets and technical formats that are not easy to follow. By interpreting and analysing this material, I aim to help providers, families, and the wider public see what the state of care really looks like. I also combine this with inspection findings, open data, and lived experiences to show where care is strong and where improvement is needed.
Telling Real Stories
Too often, care is presented through headlines or management spin, while the voices of staff, residents, and families go unheard. Through Caregraph, I focus on the people at the heart of care, sharing their dedication, struggles, and achievements. My aim is to highlight the realities that often remain hidden, and to reflect the true spirit of those who keep the sector going.
Creating a Platform for Voices
Caregraph is more than a publication. It is a place for others to share their experiences too. I want providers, staff, families, and entrepreneurs to be able to contribute stories, ideas, and reflections. By giving space to lived experience, I hope to create a more authentic picture of care and also shine a light on innovations and products that can make a real difference in daily practice.
People First
I founded Caregraph after working in care homes since 2009 as a nurse. This publication is rooted in my frontline experience and is built to respect and support the people who deliver and depend on care every day.
Get In TouchWhy I Started Caregraph

I started Caregraph because I felt there was a gap between the data we have about care and what the public can actually understand. I saw the importance of making this information accessible, not hidden in reports or spreadsheets. For me, it has always been about honesty, clarity, and helping people see the real state of care in the UK.
Editorial Standards and Independence
Caregraph is not about providing PR or criticising providers unfairly. My aim is to tell the story as it is, guided by accuracy, fairness, and respect. I want to give people the information they need to make informed choices, always keeping dignity at the centre of reporting.
Who It’s For
Caregraph is for anyone who wants an impartial understanding of adult and social care. Whether you are a provider, staff member, resident, family, policymaker, or entrepreneur, this space is for you.
Looking Ahead
My hope is to grow Caregraph into more than a publication, into a community where people can contribute and connect. I want it to be a place where research, lived experience, and honest voices come together to drive positive change.
